A Unique Silver and Copper Cut Out Window Necklace
This stunning silver and copper cut out window pendant is a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted from a sterling silver sheet that I carefully cut with a fine blade saw. Inspired by my travels to numerous churches, I created this design with the intention of layering and experimenting with textures.
The silver sheet is hand-cut and then set into a thicker silver border band. The cut-through design allows light to pass through, creating a window-like effect. To highlight the silver, I added a copper sheet of the same size, but without soldering them together. This allows the pieces to move independently, adding a dynamic element to the design.
The silver window reveals what’s behind it, and when worn, it catches the light and creates a mesmerizing interplay of textures and colours. This eye-catching pendant is sure to make a statement. This piece will not be replicated so it is one of a kind. If you love it make sure you don’t miss out.
